How to enter Unlock Code on Nokia Phones

Unlock codes are unique and should only be entered into the handset they were created for. Unlock codes are generated from the network or carrier that the handset is locked to and the specific serial number of the handset that is locked. If an incorrect code is repeatedly inserted into a handset the counter can become locked, this will disable remote unlocking.

1. Remove the SIM card and type the primary unlock code using your handset keypad.
2. Compose #PW+CODE+7# or #PW+CODE+1# where 'CODE' is the unlock code you received
   To get letter P quickly press 3 times the star button ( * )
   To get letter W quickly press 4 times the star button ( * )
   To get sign + quickly press 2 times the star button ( * )
3. You will see a message 'SIM Restriction Off'. Your handset should will be unlocked. Switch your handset off re-insert the SIM card and switch back on.
